- 12 Brussels sprouts, halved
- 2 slices Benton's smoked bacon, chopped (optional)
- 1 ounce Almonds, chopped (optional)
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons water
Directions
- Toss Brussels sprouts in canola oil, salt, and black pepper.
- Add canola to medium-high skillet, then add Brussels sprouts and bacon. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring as needed.
- Add bacon and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Add brown sugar and water and cook until sugar dissolves (<1 minute).
- Top with almonds.
