Ingredients
- 500 grams water
- 900 grams all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon yeast
- 40 grams honey
- 113 grams butter (1 stick)
Directions
- Combine and mix ingredients by hand, or use stand mixer.
- Rise. Punch down. Rise again. Punch down. Place in bread pan. Allow third (partial) rise.
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Bake at 375°F for 30 minutes.
- Flip on side for 5 minutes.
- Flip on other side for 5 minutes.
- Set up right, remove lid, bake until golden brown (10 to 12 minutes).
- Remove loaf from pan, and bake a few minutes longer directly on oven rack.
- Cool on wire rack.
- Serve warm!
