Ingredients
- 3 pounds chopped yellow onions
- 1 pound tomatoes
- 5 teaspoons turmeric powder
- 1/2 pound peeled and chopped ginger
- 24 cloves peeled garlic
- 2 tablespoons + 2 teaspoons sea salt
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil (substitute canola oil)
Directions
- Mix everything in the crockpot, pour the oil over the top, and cook on high for 4 hours.
- Transfer ingredients to blender, puree.
- Return to crockpot, passing through tamis. Cook on high for 8 hours.
- Finished curry can be stored in refrigerator for 2 to 3 weeks, or frozen and used when desired.
