Ingredients
- 4 fluid ounces light cream
- 1 fluid ounce white cooking wine
- 1 ounce cream cheese
- 4 ounces cremini mushrooms
- 1 shallot, minced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 6 sprigs chive, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Pinch of black pepper
Directions
- Heat skillet to medium-high. Add olive oil, shallot, and garlic. Stir occasionally until softened, 1-2 minutes.
- Add mushrooms, salt, and a pinch of black pepper. Stir until browned, 4-6 minutes.
- Add white wine. Stir until liquid is almost evaporated, 2-3 minutes.
- Add water and cream cheese. Simmer until cream cheese is melted and sauce is creamy, 1-2 minutes.
- Remove from burner and stir in chives. Serve!
